I love everything about this.
Politics is such a male-dominated sphere. I realized this when out of the 15+ people who liked my Facebook status on Romney/Santorum, only 3 were women; the comments on it were all made by men. What makes people think politics isn’t crucial to their daily lives? More importantly, what makes women more inclined to favor fashion, beauty, celebrity gossip, etc more than the very authority that determines their ability to pursue these interests at all?
I want to challenge women to rethink femininity — not so that it would resemble masculinity more, but rather so that it would illuminate all that our sex enables us to be.
